On 16/09/2011 was updated our ATEX Certificate. It now covers our complete production range up to DN 600 PN 400 and 24” 2500 #. This revision was performed by Lloyd´s Register, notified body nº 38, according to Directive 94/9/EC, for use in potentially Explosive Atmospheres.

PEKOS valves has achieved SIL certification for all our ball valves. Following all international requisitions of certificates, we have this SIL certification to add to all the ones already on use

Pekos QC department is being equipped with brand new Rugosimeter. This modern device comes as an answer to the growing demand for special  surface finishing at the high quality sector of the valve business that we cater for. We are now able to do in-house material verifications and tests with :

Class VI metal seated ball valves from stock!

Our metal to metal valves stock is being built up and soon we will be supplying the complete range from stock.

In addition, our factory is already working on our next target : building up stock of full trunnion valves class 150/300/600 lbs.

PEKOS VALVES has exhibited in the most important chemical show in Asia : ACHEMASIA, for the first contact with our customers from the far east. It was a good opportunity for PEKOS to present the new range of manufactures such as Trunnion mounted valves designed in 3 pieces, metal to metal, criogenic, 3 & 4 way.

We thank so much all our friends and customers who came to visit us. It was a great pleasure to share some time with them. We hope to see them again next year.

After the great success of our automatic warehouses in Barcelona and Bilbao , for finished product, we have implemented a vertical one for repair kits, brackets, adaptors, etc….

With this accurate control of our stocks we can improve our service and our deliveries to our customers.

PEKOS VALVES was exhibiting in one of the most important shows in Iran : Oil & Gas Teheran Show, which takes place yearly in April. It was a good opportunity for PEKOS to present the new range of manufactures such as Trunnion mounted valves designed in 3 pieces. As usual PEKOS received a big number of visitors during the 6 days, which the show lasted.

We thank so much all our friends and customers who came to visit us. It was a great pleasure to share some time with them. We hope to see them again next year.

PEKOS launched the NEW ANSI catalogue, which includes Full Trunnion mounted valves designed in three pieces, up to class 600, in both cast and forged materials. A hard copy was sent to our customers and soft copy is available in our website.

Next November 2006, we will be present for second time with our own stand, at the International exibition ADIPEC of ABU DHABI (U.A.E.), one of the most importants exhibitions in the world for oil, petrol & gas.

Last month of April 2006, we were present again, with our own stand, at the International IRAN Oil & Gas exhibition in TEHERAN, to promote our PEKOS ball valves. We had the chance and the pleasure to receive many end users and engineering companies.

After the great success of our automatic warehouse in Barcelona , for finished product, we have implemented another one in Bilbao por raw material. With this accurate control of our stocks we can improve our service and our deliveries to our customers.

In November 2005, we were exhibiting for 6th consecutive edition, at the International hall of chemistry EXPOQUIMIA, that it took place from the 14th to the 18th of November in the Barcelona exhibition centre.
This exhibition has consolidated, edition by edition, as one of the biggest meeting points of the chemical sector, with more than 3,000 exhibitors, 41 countries represented, and almost 70.000 m2 of exhibition space.

Due to our customers’ increasing demand of these types of valves, we decided to launch specific catalogues for each type, highlighting there main features. The cryogenic valves and 3 way valves catalogues are new editions and we up dated the already existing WAFER VALVES one.

In March 2005, we took part as exhibitors at GASTECH 2005, international fair of the petrochemical industry and the natural gas focused on LNG.

This fair is the most prestigious appointment of the gas sector on a world-wide scale. In the last edition celebrated in Qatar, there were more than 1.400 professional delegates and 2.500 visitors of more than 60 countries.

The high continues growth of our turnover for number of
years forced us to extend our production facilities by buying
a new industrial building in Zaratamo (1.000 m2), where we have moved all our machines and castings stocks. The main building (1.500 m2) is still at the same place but now only dedicated to office, R+D, assembly - testing, and stocking machined parts ready to assembly.

Due to the high growth experienced in the last years, we were forced to extend our facilities, moving out from our location in Poble Nou (Barcelona), to a new office and warehouse building in the village of Montmelo, close to Barcelona and right next to the Formula 1 circuit of Catalunya.
This new industrial building, has everything we might need in order to offer the best possible service to all our customers.
